Job Title - Production & QA/QC Engineer – Pipe Fittings & Flanges

Location:- Virar

Department: Production / Quality Assurance

Experience Required:- 2–6 years (preferably in pipe fittings, flanges, or heavy engineering manufacturing)

Edu - Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Job Summary:

The candidate will be responsible for handling production activities on the shop floor along with quality control documentation and compliance as per project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Floor Handling

- Supervise day-to-day manufacturing activities (forgings, machining, heat treatment, etc.)
- Ensure production as per approved drawings, QAP/ITP, and specifications
- Coordinate with planning, stores, and dispatch teams
- Monitor productivity, resource utilization, and timelines
- Handle shop floor manpower and ensure safety compliance
- Resolve production issues and maintain smooth workflow

QA/QC & Documentation

- Preparation and maintenance of Quality Dossiers / MDR (Manufacturing Data Record)




- Review and control of documents such as:
- Material Test Certificates (MTC)
- Inspection Reports
- Dimensional Reports
- NDT Reports
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes (ASTM, ASME, API, etc.)
- Coordinate with Third Party Inspection (TPI) agencies
- Maintain traceability records and heat number control
- Support internal and external audits

Key Skills Required:

- Knowledge of pipe fittings & flanges manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with ASME, ASTM, API standards
- Robust understanding of QAP / ITP / MDR documentation
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel / documentation tools

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in export-oriented projects (Oil & Gas, EPC, etc.)
- Exposure to TPI agencies (BV, TUV, DNV, etc.)
- Experience in handling LC documentation

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
