- Supply Chain Strategist is an industry leading decision support tool designed for periodic use to support strategic and tactical supply chain planning decisions.
- Scope
- As Lead Software Engineer I acts as technical expert and advocate for best practices for designing, developing and maintaining the SCS (C++ solver) of product development team and provides technical thought leadership to junior engineers, QA and assists implementation teams.
- Owns the complete code to deploy activities
- What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions.
- Develops prototypes and proofs of principles for innovative features.
- Develops quality software (including test code) according to clean code principles and Blue Yonder standards.
- Empowers team members by sharing knowledge and providing hints so they come up with their own solutions.
- Participate in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Translate requirements to user stories and actively seek feedback from stakeholders.
- Take the lead in design of individual stories and translate the design to subtasks.




- Continuously improves yourself and the code you produce.
- Consider aspects of information security while coding and reviewing other's code.
- Keep up to date with technology and research latest trends in the industry.
- Become the expert in a specific module and the go-to person for related implementational and operational issues.
- Leads by example.
- Resolves complex functional questions and issues for external and internal customers.
- What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering and minimum 8 to 152years of experience in Software development; ideally a candidate that has worked as highly scalable applications development in product based companies or R&D; divisions.
- Should have 7+ years hands-on experience in MFC and VC++.
- Experience in Java, Oracle or any RDBMS, GitHub is desirable.
- Strong experience with Object-Oriented design and strong computer science fundamentals: Data Structures, Algorithms, Design Patterns.
- Proficiency with SQL database technologies.
- Expertise in techniques for data modeling, storage and access.
- Quick learner with solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Provides actionable insights by explaining the technical outcomes to add business value to customers
- Very good communication skills to interact with customer/services to understand their problem and provide the solution for customers' acceptance.
- Works with internal and external stakeholders in resolving critical customer issues.
- Experience in addressing business queries both from internal and external sources
- Experience in cloud-based hosting solutions (MS Azure)
