Role & Responsibilities

- Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using Python and Selenium WebDriver.

- Design and implement API automation test cases for RESTful services.

- Create and execute BDD test scenarios using frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber.

- Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and Acceptance Testing.

- Analyse business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

- Execute SQL queries for backend database validation.

- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members in an Agile environment.

- Maintain automation frameworks and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.

- Participate in test planning, sprint ceremonies, and release validation activities.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software through effective automation practices.





Preferred Candidate Profile

- 4-6 years of experience in Software Testing with strong expertise in Automation Testing.

- Hands-on experience in Python Automation.

- Solid experience in API Automation.

- Good experience with Selenium WebDriver.

- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Behave/Cucumber or equivalent).

- Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.

- Experience in Functional, Regression, Smoke, and Acceptance Testing.

- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines will be an added advantage.
