About the role

We're looking for a Python Backend Developer who works comfortably with AI-assisted engineering to build and scale the services behind our platforms. This is a backend-focused role: clean API design, solid data modelling, and systems that stay reliable under real load built with AI tooling as a core part of how you work.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with AI-assisted development tools as a core part of how you build this is central to the role
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTAPIs in Python
- Write efficient MySQL queries and design schemas that hold up under real production traffic
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices across services and APIs
- Optimize backend components for performance, scalability, and reliability query optimization, caching, and efficient data structures
- Debug and resolve production issues across the stack, from application logic to server-level troubleshooting
- Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices in backend development

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. 3+ years of backend development experience
2. Strong command of Python and at least one Python web framework, with solid OOP and MVC fundamentals
3. Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar),



and the judgment to critically review what they produce
4. MySQL deep working knowledge, including schema design and query optimization (BigQuery knowledge is an advantage)
5. Proven experience designing and building RESTAPIs, with a good understanding of HTTP and JSON
6. Experience building scalable applications that handle real production load
7. Comfortable on Linux — confident with the command line, logs, and server-level debugging
8. Solid problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
9. Logical thinking and a solution-oriented approach — able to break down an unfamiliar problem and work toward a workable answer
10. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
11. B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent. Equivalent practical experience will be considered.

Good to Have (Advantage) Knowledge of Docker or containerized deployments

Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows — branches, pull requests, code reviews

Any frontend scripting experience — JavaScript, jQuery, ReactJS, or VueJS
