Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site procurement activities for urgent and planned material requirements.

Coordinate with the Head Office Purchase Department for procurement of major items and timely dispatch to site.

Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, ensuring quality and quantity compliance.

Maintain store inventory, issue materials against authorized requisitions, and update stock records.

Monitor stock levels and raise timely indents to avoid material shortages affecting plant operations.

Maintain proper documentation of GRNs, issue slips, stock registers, invoices, challans, and gate entries.

Coordinate with vendors for local purchases, follow up on deliveries, and resolve material-related issues.

Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory records.

Support Operations & Maintenance teams by ensuring uninterrupted availability of spares, consumables, chemicals, PPE,



and maintenance materials.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and procurement MIS reports and submit them to the Head Office.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or Commerce.

3–5 years of experience in site purchase and store management, preferably in STP/WTP, EPC, or infrastructure projects.

Knowledge of inventory control, local procurement, and material documentation.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Tally or similar inventory management software.

Valuable communication, coordination, and record-keeping skills.

Ability to work independently at project sites and coordinate effectively with site engineers, vendors, and the Head Office.
