Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage the procurement process for active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and excipients to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and conditions of raw materials purchases.
- Conduct market research to identify potential sources of API and excipients, evaluating their quality, pricing, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies that meet business objectives.
Job Requirements :
- 8-15 years of experience in procurement or related field within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Robust knowledge of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), excipients, raw materials used in pharmaceutical formulations.
- Proven track record in managing complex procurement processes from sourcing to delivery.
