Key responsibilities Supplier management Identify evaluate and develop relationships with suppliers for technical components and materials Negotiation Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements Procurement Manage the purchase order process and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services Coordination Work closely with engineering production and quality assurance teams to understand material requirements and avoid delays Inventory control Monitor stock levels and coordinate with teams to forecast future needs Performance monitoring Evaluate supplier performance based on quality delivery and cost Record keeping Maintain accurate records of purchases pricing and inventory Reporting Prepare reports on purchasing activities cost analysis and market trends Required qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in engineering supply chain management or a related field a diploma is also sometimes acceptable Experience Previous experience in a procurement role preferably within the manufacturing mechanical or engineering industry Technical knowledge Ability to understand technical requirements read engineering documents and knowledge of manufacturing processes is often preferred Software proficiency Experience with ERP systems or other procurement software is often required Skills Strong negotiation communication analytical and problem-solving skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 35 000 00 per month Advantages Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Health insurance Internet reimbursement Leave encashment Life insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
