Position: Project Manager

Department: Product and Project Delivery

Experience : Minimum 2–4 years of Project Management experience in IT/Product/Software companies

Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai

Role Overview The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering software development and AI/data engineering projects within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards. The role requires working from office as it needs close collaboration with engineering teams, product managers, customers, and leadership to ensure projects deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

- Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource plans.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and dashboards.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve delivery risks.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality expectations.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide status updates.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Agile Project Management

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Track sprint progress, velocity, burndown, and release readiness.
- Remove impediments impacting delivery.
- Ensure the delivery process compliances are followed.
- Ensure continuous improvement within delivery teams.

Team Leadership

- Coordinate activities across Engineering, QA, Product, DevOps, Data Engineering, and Customer Success teams.




- Promote accountability and ownership across project teams.
- Support resource planning and capacity management.
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Risk & Issue Management

- Identify project risks early and implement mitigation plans.
- Escalate critical issues to leadership where required.
- Ensure dependencies are effectively managed.

Quality & Governance

- Ensure adherence to project management processes and best practices.
- Monitor project KPIs and delivery metrics.
- Maintain project documentation.
- Drive continuous process improvements.

Customer Success

- Understand customer business objectives.
- Ensure successful implementation and adoption of delivered solutions.
- Support post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.

Required Skills & Experience

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master certification is an advantage.

Experience

- 4–6 years of overall experience.
- Minimum 2–4 years of Project Management experience in IT/Product/Software companies.
- Experience managing Agile software development projects.
- Experience working with global customers and with BFSI or Supply Chain Logistics domain will be an advantage

Technical Knowledge

Valuable understanding of

- Agile & Scrum methodologies, SDLC, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps (preferred), Software development lifecycle, Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure preferred) , AI/Data Engineering projects
