Role & responsibilities

1. Project Planning

- Prepare detailed project execution plans after receipt of customer Purchase Orders.
- Define project scope, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Allocate responsibilities to Project Engineers.
- Develop project schedules and monitor progress.

2. Project Execution

- Lead execution of SCADA, RMS, IoT Gateway, Solar Monitoring, and Automation projects.
- Ensure all project activities are completed according to approved timelines.
- Conduct regular project review meetings.
- Resolve project bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with

- Sales Team for project handover.
- Store Team for material availability.
- Production Team for manufacturing and testing.
- Purchase Team for procurement of non-standard items.
- Embedded and Software Teams for firmware and application support.
- Accounts Team for billing milestones.
- Dispatch Team for material dispatch.
- Technical Support Team during commissioning and warranty support.

4. Customer Management

- Act as the primary point of contact during project execution.
- Conduct project kickoff meetings.
- Share periodic progress reports.
- Manage customer expectations and resolve issues.
- Coordinate site visits and commissioning schedules.

5. Documentation

- Prepare and maintain:
- Project plans
- Risk register
- Site readiness checklist
- Material requirement list
- Commissioning reports
- Installation reports
- Project completion reports
- Lessons learned documentation
- Ensure proper document control throughout the project lifecycle.

6. Resource Management

- Allocate manpower effectively across multiple projects.
- Monitor engineer utilization.
- Coordinate travel plans for site engineers.
- Ensure availability of required tools and equipment.

7. Risk Management

- Identify execution risks.
- Develop mitigation plans.




- Escalate critical issues to management in a timely manner.
- Track dependencies that may impact delivery.

8. Financial Control

- Monitor project costs against budgets.
- Track billing milestones.
- Support timely invoicing and payment follow-up.
- Minimize cost overruns through effective planning.

9. Quality Management

- Ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Verify project deliverables before customer handover.
- Monitor installation quality and documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

10. Reporting

Prepare periodic reports including

- Project status
- Resource utilization
- Pending issues
- Delayed activities
- Risk register updates

- Monthly project performance summary

Educational Qualification

Experience

- 610 years of experience in industrial project execution.
- At least 3 years managing customer-facing technical projects.
- Experience with solar, industrial automation, SCADA, IoT, or power sector projects is preferred.
- Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
