Job Overview:The BMS Project Manager is responsible for the management of Building Management Systemprojects from design to completion. This role involves overseeing the design, installation, andcommissioning and handing over of BMS solutions, ensuring all technical, quality, and safetystandards are met.

The Project

Manager will collaborate with Consultants, PMC, clients, engineers, Internal team and Sub-contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of BMS systems that meet the required specifications.

Responsibilities:

o Execute the BMS projects, including scope definition, project timelines, budgets, andresource allocation.o Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all project deliverablesare met.o Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.o Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.o Manage and lead a team of engineers, technicians, Sub-contractor and other staff involved in the BMS project.o Ensure effective communication and collaboration between project stakeholders, includingclients, consultants, and contractors.o Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and resolve issues.o Work closely with design engineers to ensure that the BMS design meets client requirementsand industry standards.o Review technical specifications and drawings for the installation of BMS systems.o Oversee the procurement of BMS equipment and materials, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness,



and on-time delivery.o Ensure all required certifications and compliance with regulations for the BMS systems aremet.o Monitor the progress of the project to ensure it is on schedule and within budget.o Ensure that all work meets quality standards and industry regulations.o Oversee the commissioning process and troubleshoot issues during system testing.o Maintain regular communication with clients/Consultants, providing updates on projectstatus, milestones, and potential challenges.o Prepare Daily progress reports, including financial summaries, timelines, and projectperformance.o Address client concerns and provide solutions to any technical or operational issues.o Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the installation and commissioning of BMSsystems.o Comply with local and international building codes, regulations, and standards.o Manage the project closeout process, ensuring all deliverables are completed and handedover to the client.o Prepare and review final documentation, including system manuals, warranties, andcertificates.o Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvemento Minimum 8 years of experience managing BMS or similar building automation projects.o Proven experience in managing large teams and large-scale projects.o Solid understanding of building systems, HVAC, lighting, energy management, and relatedtechnologies.o Experience with BMS platforms (e.g., Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens, Trane etc).o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.o Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).o Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.o Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
