We at Fusion Practices are seeking experienced Project Managers with a robust background in Finance and Data-related projects within Banking or Financial Institutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery, managing key stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of complex regulatory and finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Project Delivery Life Cycle for finance and data-focused initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project artefacts, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and governance documentation.
- Ensure effective stakeholder management at mid-senior and senior management levels, engaging, influencing, and communicating across business and technology teams.
- Oversee project monitoring, risk management, and issue resolution to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage budgets and resources, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed financial and resource constraints.
- Coordinate with global and regional teams for alignment on scope, milestones, and dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational governance standards.
- Prioritise effectively and multitask across multiple concurrent projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong communication and conflict resolution skills under pressure in cross-functional environments.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–14 years of total experience, with strong experience as a Project Manager in Banking / Financial Services.
- Proven experience delivering projects in: Regulatory and Compliance Projects; Finance Transformation (Procurement, Tax, Accounts Payable); Data Governance and Data Lineage initiatives; Ledger/Subledger or financial systems implementations.
- Strong knowledge of Project Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC/SDLC) and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to handle conflict resolution and drive outcomes under pressure.
- Experience working in banks or financial institutions is mandatory.
- Experience with project governance tools (e.g., Planview) is desirable.
