Role Description The Project Control Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, responsible for supporting the planning, monitoring, and control of project performance. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and updating project schedules, tracking progress against baselines, and coordinating with project managers and technical teams to identify deviations and corrective actions. The role involves cost control activities such as budget development, cost forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting to ensure projects remain within approved financial and time constraints.
The Project Control
Engineer will maintain project control systems, support risk and change management processes, and provide accurate,
timely reports and dashboards to stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.
Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Project Control and Cost Management skills, including experience with project performance tracking and variance analysis.
Candidates should possess Cost Control capabilities, such as budget preparation, cost forecasting, and financial monitoring for engineering or construction projects.
Candidates should possess Planning & Scheduling expertise, including creating and maintaining project schedules using relevant tools and methodologies.
Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field; relevant professional certifications in project controls or planning are an advantage.
Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and standard office tools for reporting and analysis.
Robust communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in large infrastructure or engineering projects is highly beneficial, with knowledge of industry standards and best practices in project controls.
