: As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will drive the execution of complex, cross-functional software initiatives from concept to General Availability (GA). Operating at an IC3 tier, you are expected to navigate ambiguous problem spaces independently, establish execution frameworks, and bridge communication gaps between Product Management, Engineering, Quality Engineering (QE), and Release Operations. Key Responsibilities
Program Execution & Release Management: Drive the end-to-end planning, lifecycle tracking, and delivery of core software features and services. Build, maintain, and run master release plans (schedules, dependencies, risk registries).
Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner across engineering pods, UX, documentation, and product management to ensure alignment. Lead daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospective reviews under Agile frameworks.
Risk & Dependency Mitigation: Proactively identify technical blockages, structural cross-team dependencies, and system constraints. Formulate mitigation plans and drive decisions to keep timelines on track.
Operational Excellence: Define and monitor engineering and program metrics (KPIs). Advocate for robust software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and standard methodologies within the delivery framework.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a reliable,
data-driven voice for your program areas. Independently compile and report status updates, milestone updates, and risk vectors to engineering directors and executive teams.
Tooling & Governance: Manage project health, roadmaps, and documentation using enterprise tools like Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
What You Will Bring (Qualifications)
- Experience: 6 to 10+ years of experience in technical program/project management, specifically leading cross-functional teams within a fast-paced enterprise software or cloud services environment.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Domain Knowledge:
- A solid background in software engineering principles.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, distributed systems, virtualization/hypervisors, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps infrastructures.
- Methodologies: Deep practical experience with Agile/Scrum processes. PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master
(CSM) credentials are a definitive plus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional capability to influence without direct authority. Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex engineering dependencies to non-technical stakeholders.
