Position

Overview The University invites applications from highly qualified, motivated, and research-oriented candidates for the post of Professor / Associate Professor of Psychology. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, curriculum development, and contributing to academic administration in alignment with UGC norms and university policies. Roles & Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses in English Literature, Language, and allied areas as per curriculum requirements.

Design, update, and deliver course content in accordance with UGC/NEP guidelines.

Guide and supervise research scholars at the /Ph.D. level.

Publish quality research papers in UGC Care–listed / Scopus / Web of Science indexed journals.

Actively participate in academic planning, syllabus framing, BOS/academic committees, and university governance.

Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, FDPs, and extension activities.

Mentor students for academic growth,



research aptitude, and career development.

Undertake administrative responsibilities as assigned by the University from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria (As per UGC Norms)

For Associate Professor

Ph.D. in Psychology from a recognized university (mandatory).

Ph.D. must have been awarded 5-10 years before applying for an application

UGC NET qualified (or exempted as per UGC regulations).

Minimum 8 years of teaching and/or research experience in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution.

Evidence of published work and research guidance as per UGC norms.

For Professor

Ph.D. in Psychology from a recognized university (mandatory).

Minimum 10 years of teaching and/or research experience, of which at least 3 years at the level of Associate Professor.

Significant academic contributions, including research publications, books, research projects, and Ph.D. guidance.

Fulfilment of UGC-prescribed eligibility and research score criteria.
