Eligibility Criteria

- Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies is mandat ory from a recognized university




- Master's Degree in Buddhist Studies or a closely related discipline with an excellent academic record
- Must fulfill the UGC Regulations for appointment as Professor
- Relevant teaching and/or research experience in a university, college, or recognized research institution.
- A strong record of high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-CARE-listed journals.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising doctoral research.
- Evidence of academic leadership, research projects, curriculum development, and institutional responsibilities will be preferred
