Responsibilities

- Supervise fabrication and assembly of marine doors, hatches, and related components.

- Ensure work is carried out strictly as per approved drawings and specifications.

- Allocate daily tasks to fitters, welders, and helpers in the assigned work area.

- Monitor welding, alignment, fitting, and finishing activities.

- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspection and testing (leak test, alignment, fitment).

- Ensure proper usage of materials and minimize rework and wastage.

- Maintain production targets and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.

- Identify and resolve production issues and workflow bottlenecks.

- Ensure compliance with WPS, safety standards, and shipyard regulations.

- Coordinate with engineering and planning teams for clarifications.

- Maintain daily production reports and progress updates.

- Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of finished doors and hatches.
