Job Summary The Manager Production Planning & Control (PPC) will be responsible for end-to-end production planning, scheduling, material planning, and inventory control for the manufacturing of 5 MWh and 6.5 MWh containerized Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role ensures seamless coordination among Sales, Projects, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Logistics to achieve On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery while maximizing plant capacity, minimizing inventory, and improving manufacturing efficiency. PPC is a key function in balancing demand, material availability, and production resources in high-value BESS manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

- Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly production plans based on customer demand and project schedules.
- Prepare Master Production Schedule (MPS) for 5 MWh and 6.5 MWh BESS container production.

- Plan production across

- Balance production loading across multiple assembly lines.
- Optimize line capacity, takt time, and manpower utilization.
- Monitor production adherence and revise schedules based on changing priorities.

Material Planning (MRP)
- Execute Material Requirement Planning (MRP) using SAP/ERP.

Capacity Planning
- Analyze machine and manpower capacity.
- Prepare capacity utilization reports.




- Identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
- Support production expansion planning.

Inventory & WIP Management
- Monitor RM, WIP, and FG inventory.
- Optimize inventory without impacting production.
- Reduce excess inventory and obsolete stock.
- Control WIP across all assembly stages.
- Ensure FIFO implementation.

Production Coordination
- Coordinate daily with:

- Manufacturing

- Conduct daily production review meetings.
- Resolve production constraints affecting delivery commitments.

Order Management
- Convert customer orders into executable production schedules.
- Track order progress from planning to dispatch.
