Job DescriptionJob Purpose

NThe CCTV Production Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of CCTV camera manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met with optimal quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement in processes, productivity, and people capability.

NKey Responsibilities

nProduction & Operations

N

- Plan, organize, and control CCTV production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
N
- Ensure smooth assembly of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVRs, and related accessories as per defined SOPs.
N
- Balance manpower, machines, and materials to achieve optimal throughput.
N
- Monitor production KPIssuch as output, efficiency, yield, and downtime.
N

nQuality Management

N

- Ensure compliancewith product quality standards, testing protocols, and customer requirements.
N
- Drive reduction in defects, rework, and field failures through root cause analysis and CAPA.
N
- Coordinate with Qualityteams for audits, certifications, and process validations.
N

nCost & Productivity Improvement

N

n
- Drive cost reduction initiatives related to material usage, labor efficiency, and process optimization.
N
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
N
- Improve line balancing,cycle time, and first-pass yield.
N

nPeople Management

N

- Lead, motivate, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor workforce.
N
- Conduct training on SOPs, quality awareness, safety, and productivity improvement.
N
- Manage manpower planning, shift allocation, and performance reviews.
N

nSupply Chain & Coordination

N

- Coordinate with PPC, Supply Chain, and Stores to ensure material availability.
N
- Work closely with R&D; and Engineering for current product introduction (NPI) and process changes.
N
- Support vendor development for outsourced or critical components.
N

nSafety & Compliance

N

- Ensure adherence to EHS standards and statutory compliance on the shop floor.
N
- Promote a safe, disciplined, and clean working environment.
N

nReporting & Documentation

N

- Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
N
- Track KPIs and present performance reviews to management.
N
- Ensure documentation ofSOPs, work instructions, and process controls.
N

nKey Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of CCTV camera manufacturing, electronics assembly, and testing processes
N
- Expertise in productionplanning, capacity utilization, and process improvement

- Working knowledge of Electronic Product Assembly, Lean, 5S, and Operation Excellence.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
N
- Good understanding of ERP/MRP/SAP systems

- Effective communicationand cross-functional coordination

- B.E. / B. Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical

- Experience

- 12–15 years of experience in electronics manufacturing

- Minimum 3–5 years in a HOD role managing CCTV
