JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Production Executive with hands-on experience in operating Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth,

safe, and efficient plant operations for our Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) Excipient production line. This role is central to our process control strategy, focusing on plant stability, continuous improvement, and strict adherence to pharmaceutical quality standards.

DETAILED KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Process Control & DCS Operations

Operate and monitor the Distributed Control System (DCS) for real-time process control, ensuring all parameters stay within validated ranges.

Maintain optimal plant performance by adjusting temperature, pressure, flow, and level parameters based on production requirements.

Swiftly respond to system alarms, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent batch deviations.

Execute complex plant startups, steady-state operations, and controlled shutdowns through the DCS interface.

- Operational Coordination & Troubleshooting

Directly coordinate with field operators to ensure physical checks align with DCS readings.





Troubleshoot operational issues during the shift and provide technical support to maintenance teams for resolving equipment or system faults.

Participate in system upgrades, logic testing, and loop checking during plant maintenance or expansion phases.

- Documentation, Quality & Compliance

Log daily operational data accurately and prepare comprehensive shift-end reports.

Document any critical events, deviations, or process abnormalities as per Good Documentation Practices

(GDP).

Strictly adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Health, Safety, and Environmental

(HSE) protocols.

Maintain the control room and related computer hardware in high standards of housekeeping and discipline.

- Safety & Emergency Response

Lead emergency response protocols from the control room during power failures, equipment breakdowns,

or safety incidents.

Actively participate in regular safety drills and contribute to preventive maintenance planning for process safety.

QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, or B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry.

Experience: 2– years of hands-on DCS operation in Pharmaceuticals, Petrochemicals, or Food

Processing sectors.

Technical Skill: Proficiency in platforms like Honeywell, Siemens, Emerson, Yokogawa, or ABB DCS systems.

Setting: Ability to thrive in high-pressure, 24/7 manufacturing environments with rotating shifts

(including nights and weekends).
