Role & responsibilities

- Plan and monitor daily sheet metal production activities.
- Supervise fabrication processes including laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, shearing, welding, grinding, and assembly.
- Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum machine utilization.
- Prepare and execute production plans based on customer orders.
- Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Coordinate with design, planning, stores, and quality departments.
- Monitor production efficiency, rejection, rework, and material utilization.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for fabrication equipment.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards, SOPs, and safety regulations.
- Analyze production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Train shop-floor operators on work instructions and best manufacturing practices.
- Prepare daily production, downtime, rejection, and productivity reports.
