NJob Description – ProductDesigner (Automotive Interior & Exterior Components)

NPosition: Product Designer – Automotive Components (Interior & Exterior)

NDepartment: Product Design & Development

NPurpose of the Role: Responsible for designing and developing automotive interior and exterior plastic components from concept to mass production while meeting customer requirements, quality standards, cost targets, and manufacturing feasibility.

NKey Responsibilities:

N Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for automotive interior and exterior components.

NDesign parts considering styling, functionality, manufacturability, assembly, and cost requirements.

N Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews with cross-functional teams.

NPrepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, engineering specifications, and change management records.

N Perform tolerance analysis, stack-up studies,



and GD&T; application.

NSupport DFMEA preparation and design risk mitigation activities.

N Coordinate with customers, tooling suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and project teams during development.

NSupport prototype development, tooling trials, validation, and production launch activities.

N Analyze design issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

NEnsure compliance with customer standards, automotive regulations, and company design guidelines.

N Participate in value engineering and cost reduction activities.

NRequired Skills:

NProficiency in CAD software such as CATIA V5 & UG NX.

N Knowledge of plastic part design, injection molding, tooling, and assembly processes.

NUnderstanding of DFMEA,DFM, DFA, GD&T;, and APQP processes.

N Experience in automotive interior and exterior trim components.

NKnowledge of automotivedevelopment processes and quality standards.

N Strong problem-solving,communication, and teamwork skills.
