About Company: Our client into world's largest manufacturer of mould furniture and Asia's largest processor of plastic mould products.
Designation :- Purchase /Steel components
Job Location :- Sinnar, Nashik
Nature of Job :- Permanent
Experience: Min. 3 to 5 years experience / Experience in Racking / Sheet Metal
Reporting to: HOD (Functional)
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands on experience of Cost estimation and procurement of fabrication Steel parts like sheet-metal, structures etc.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP MM module transactions.
- Good Knowledge of Codes and standards for Raw Material i.e. Steel sheets, Pipes, Structural material.
- Good knowledge of fabrication methods, welding techniques as per codes and standards.
- Robust communication skills with all stakeholders and management level
- Analytical and system / process-based approach.
- Excellent in communication with vendors and internal customers.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines.
- Responsible for cost effective procurement of fabricated and sheet metals items as per manufacturing requirements.
- Responsible for identification and development of new vendors/development of existing vendors fabrication and sheet metal items.
- Support design/marketing team in presales estimation of costs.
- Liaison with quality control team for in stage /final inspection of ordered items & ensure timely delivery of ordered items to stores.
- Publish monthly MIS on Cost savings achieved in procurements done.
