Role Description The Procurement Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Delhi, India, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for fire protection, security, and surveillance projects. This role includes sourcing and evaluating suppliers, requesting and comparing quotations, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment, and services.

The Procurement

Manager will collaborate closely with project, engineering, and finance teams to align purchasing with project timelines, technical specifications, and budget requirements. Daily tasks include maintaining vendor databases,



monitoring inventory levels, preparing purchase orders, overseeing contract compliance, and tracking procurement KPIs. The role also involves identifying cost-saving opportunities, mitigating supply risks, and supporting continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong procurement and supplier evaluation skills, including experience in vendor sourcing, RFQs, and supplier performance assessment.
- Candidates should possess contract negotiation and contract management skills to secure favorable terms, manage SLAs, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret data, assess total cost of ownership, and support decision-making on sourcing strategies and vendor selection.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of procurement processes, documentation, and ERP or purchasing systems, ideally within construction, engineering, or fire and security domains.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, with attention to detail, ethical conduct, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
- Experience in managing multiple vendors, handling pan-India procurement, and familiarity with Indian regulatory and compliance requirements related to fire and security equipment is beneficial.
