Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise network infrastructure within a managed services environment.

The ideal candidate will serve as the highest technical escalation point for complex network issues, drive network transformation initiatives, and ensure the availability, scalability, security, and performance of enterprise and data center networks.

This role requires deep technical expertise in routing, switching, firewall technologies, network architecture, and vendor solutions, along with robust leadership capabilities to mentor engineering teams and influence enterprise network strategy.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Data Center network infrastructure.
- Provide L3/L4 technical leadership and serve as the final escalation point for critical network incidents.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex routing, switching, wireless, and firewall issues across enterprise environments.
- Manage P1/P0 incidents, perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
- Review, validate, and approve network configurations, architecture designs, and deployment plans.
- Lead network transformation, modernization, automation,



and optimization initiatives.
- Architect high availability, redundancy, disaster recovery, and resilient network solutions.
- Develop and maintain High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and technical architecture documentation.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, application, and vendor teams to deliver enterprise networking solutions.
- Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, lifecycle management, and technology roadmap planning.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards, governance policies, and industry best practices.
- Mentor senior engineers, provide technical guidance, and drive knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- 8 to 10 years of experience in enterprise networking and managed services.
- Strong expertise in enterprise network architecture, routing, switching, firewall technologies, and network security.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, and Juniper technologies.
- Proven experience managing P1/P0 critical incidents and complex enterprise network environments.
- Experience designing highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise networks.
- Strong understanding of Data Center networking, WAN optimization, and network modernization.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring technical teams and leading enterprise networking initiatives.
