Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a PPC (Production Planning & Control) Engineer based in the Pune Division. The PPC Engineer will plan and schedule production activities to meet project timelines, capacity constraints, and customer requirements, while ensuring optimal use of resources and materials.

Responsibilities include preparing and monitoring production schedules, coordinating with design, manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams, and addressing bottlenecks or delays in the production process. The role involves tracking production performance against targets, analyzing data to improve throughput and efficiency, and maintaining accurate documentation related to work orders, material requirements, and inventory. The PPC Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to establishing robust processes suitable for an advanced technology start-up environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and preparing/maintaining Production Schedules.
- Candidates should possess solid Planning and Analytical Skills for capacity assessment,



forecasting, and process optimization.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for cross-functional coordination and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in manufacturing or production planning, preferably in electronics, thermal systems, or similar technology domains.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production planning tools or ERP systems.
- Ability to work systematically, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, inventory management, and basic quality control principles is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and demand forecasts.
- Develop production schedules considering machine capacity, manpower availability, and material readiness.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Monitor production progress and make necessary adjustments to meet delivery commitments.
- Track work orders throughout the manufacturing process.
- Monitor production efficiency and identify bottlenecks.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within planned timelines.
- Coordinate corrective actions for production delays.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Stores departments to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Raise material requirements based on production plans.
- Reduce material shortages and excess inventory.
- Work closely with Design, Production,



Purchase, Quality, and Logistics teams.
- Communicate production priorities across departments.
- Coordinate dispatch schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare Daily Production Reports (DPR).
- Maintain production planning records and documentation.
- Generate MIS reports related to production performance.
- Monitor production KPIs and report deviations.
- Identify opportunities for improving production efficiency.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
- Optimize resource utilization.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
