Promoters and Builders Pvt. Ltd. delivers building construction projects on an EPC basis, working predominantly with government and public-sector clients across Jharkhand, Bihar and Delhi NCR. Our work is buildings institutional, residential and public building projects; we do not undertake roads, highways, bridges, power or industrial plant work.

Our designs are checked against departmental specifications, cleared by statutory authorities and delivered against audited timelines an error here is a delay and a matter of public record. We build small teams of competent engineers and give them real ownership of their discipline.

The role. You will own plumbing, public health and fire protection design for DPBL's EPC building projects from our Delhi office — water supply, drainage, external services and the full fire fighting package, through to fire department clearance. This is a design-office role.

What you will do

- Water demand estimation, fixture unit counts and pipe sizing to NBC 2016 Part 9 and UPC-I; UG and OH tank sizing
- Domestic water, flushing and hot water distribution; hydro-pneumatic systems and pump head calculation
- Soil, waste and vent design by the drainage fixture unit method; external sewerage, storm water and rainwater harvesting
- Fire protection to NBC 2016 Part 4 and relevant IS codes: wet riser, down-comer, yard hydrant, hose reel, sprinklers, fire pump room,

static and terrace storage sizing

- Hydraulic calculations for hydrant and sprinkler networks — Pipenet, Elite or equivalent, or manual where warranted




- Drawings and calculations for fire department NOC, and following them through the authority
- DBR, specifications, equipment schedules, BOQ and GFC sets in AutoCAD; vendor evaluation, shop drawing review, commissioning support

What you must have

- B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil or Public Health Engineering
- Minimum five years designing both plumbing and fire fighting systems — we need one engineer who covers both, not one who covers one and assists on the other
- Ability to perform hydraulic calculations for hydrant and sprinkler networks independently
- Working command of NBC 2016 Part 4 and Part 9, relevant IS codes and CPWD specifications
- Direct experience preparing submissions for fire department NOC or equivalent statutory approval
- AutoCAD proficiency sufficient to issue a complete GFC set; BOQ and specification writing; demonstrated experience on building projects executed in EPC mode

Preferred

Government, PSU or department building projects (CPWD, PWD, NBCC, HSCC, state departments) • Pipenet or equivalent hydraulic software • NFPA familiarity alongside Indian codes • Revit MEP • hospitals, high-rise residential and institutional buildings, including buildings with STP or WTP in scope.

Who this role is not for

Fresh graduates and students; engineers whose experience is entirely plumbing or fire fighting installation, execution or supervision;
