Key Responsibilities:
PLM / PDM Consultancy:
- Understand, analyze, and document product development and manufacturing workflows.
- Support processes such as:
- Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and management
- Engineering Change Management (ECM)
- Document/data control and versioning
- Item and part lifecycle tracking
- Product release and approval processes
System Support & Collaboration:
- Facilitate collaboration between design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
- Work with implementation teams to configure PLM workflows and data models based on manufacturing best practices.
- Assist with deployment, user training, and onboarding for Autodesk PLM tools (Fusion Manage, Vault, Upchain).
- Learn and adapt PLM/PDM tool functionalities with minimal supervision.
- Create user documentation, training guides, and support materials.
Integration (Nice to Have):
- Design and implement integrations between PLM/PDM systems and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
- Map and synchronize items, BOMs, documents, engineering change orders (ECOs),
and materials.
- Develop integrations using APIs (REST/SOAP), BAPIs, IDocs, or middleware (Boomi, MuleSoft).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- 0–3 years of experience in PLM implementation, engineering, or manufacturing domain.
- Robust understanding of product development, revision, and release processes in manufacturing.
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Solid analytical thinking and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
Must Have:
- Understanding of PLM/PDM concepts and their use in the mechanical engineering domain.
- Strong problem-solving skills and systems thinking.
Nice to Have:
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge: C# (.NET), JavaScript.
- Experience with APIs (REST/JSON/XML) for system integration.
