Role Description The Plant Head is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations. This role includes managing daily production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and optimizing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The Plant

Head will plan and monitor production schedules, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role also involves managing plant budgets, supervising and developing team members, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet business goals.





Qualifications Strong expertise in plant operations and production management, with a proven ability to lead large-scale manufacturing activities.

Experience in production planning and scheduling to meet output, delivery, and efficiency targets.

Hands-on knowledge of quality control practices and implementation of quality systems on the shop floor.

Capability in budgeting and cost control, including resource allocation and optimization of operational expenses.

Demonstrated leadership skills in managing diverse teams, fostering a safe and inclusive work environment, and driving performance.

Solid understanding of machinery or engineering manufacturing processes;

experience in similar industrial environments is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using production and reporting tools.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate with senior management, suppliers, and customers.
