Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Leadership

- Lead and coordinate all production departments to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

- Align production priorities with customer delivery commitments.

- Ensure smooth coordination between Production, PPC, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, and Engineering.

- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and collaboration across departments.

Production Planning & Execution

- Drive daily production review meetings.

- Monitor production performance against plans.

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.

- Improve schedule adherence and production stability.

Operational Excellence

- Lead Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), productivity, and throughput.

- Reduce changeover times, downtime, rework, and waste.

- Standardize manufacturing processes and operating procedures.

- Promote data-driven decision-making and performance management.

Productivity Improvement

- Increase output without compromising quality or safety.

- Optimize manpower deployment and machine utilization.

- Improve production cycle times and manufacturing efficiency.

- Develop and monitor key production KPIs.

- Improve manufacturing cost efficiency.

- Optimize material usage and reduce scrap.

- Monitor consumable and utility consumption.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities without affecting quality.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing procedures.

- Drive root cause analysis for recurring production issues.

- Support customer audits and certification requirements.

- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
