Job Overview

Baseline is looking for a Planning Engineer with experience in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical projects. The role involves project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and coordination with design and execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed project schedules, bar charts, and work programs.
- Develop and maintain project plans using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules based on actual site execution.
- Track project milestones and identify schedule deviations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and project dashboards.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure project timelines are achieved.
- Assist in manpower planning, material planning, and resource allocation.
- Perform delay analysis and recommend corrective planning actions.
- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, and project specifications for planning activities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Support project control, monitoring, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualification & Experience

- B.E.



/ B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Experience in industrial and commercial projects will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel for planning, reporting, and data analysis.
- Good understanding of project scheduling, resource planning, progress monitoring, and delay analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Robust analytical, coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
- Experience in EPC, engineering consultancy, or project management environments will be an added advantage.
