Role Description The Placement Coordinator is a full-time, in office role based in Bettiah. This role involves identifying and building relationships with potential employers, understanding their hiring needs, and matching trained youth with suitable job opportunities.

The Placement

Coordinator will regularly interact with students, provide career guidance, prepare them for interviews, and support them through the placement process. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining placement records, coordinating interviews and employer visits, organizing placement-related events,



and collaborating with training teams to align skilling programs with market requirements. The role also requires ongoing follow-up with placed candidates and employers to ensure successful integration and continuous improvement of placement outcomes.

Qualifications Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to engage effectively with youth, employers, and stakeholders.

Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication in relevant local and/or national languages.

Background or interest in Education, youth development, or training-related initiatives.

Experience or aptitude in Recruiting, candidate screening, and placement coordination.

Basic data management and documentation skills to track placements and outcomes.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet timelines.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a focus on social sciences, education, or management is an advantage.

Prior experience in placements, career services, or community outreach is beneficial.
