Role: PIPING LAYOUT ENGINEER

Location: Chennai

Responsibilities:

- Act as a team player and effectively manage a team of designers and draftsmen.

- Contribute to all phases of piping activities, including Bid, FEED, and Detailed Design.

- Design and verify layouts, piping systems, and supports.

- Review and validate piping deliverables such as plot plans, equipment layouts, isometrics, and piping general arrangement drawings.

- Prepare piping material takeoffs during Bid, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.

- Review vendor drawings and provide inputs for integration into the 3D model.

- Monitor and report progress of the 3D model.

- Coordinate with other disciplines for interdiscipline document reviews, including vendor submissions.

- Requirements:

- Handson experience as an Area Engineer for at least 3 years in EPC projects.

- Robust knowledge of piping design, layout verification, and support systems.

- Familiarity with project workflows across Bid, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.

- Proven ability to lead and manage design teams effectively.
