Role Description The Photographer role at Social Matters is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The Photographer will be responsible for planning and executing photo shoots for brand campaigns, social media content, and marketing materials. Day-to-day activities include collaborating with creative and marketing teams to interpret briefs, scouting locations, setting up lighting and equipment, capturing high-quality images, and coordinating with models or clients during shoots.

The role also involves selecting and editing photos, maintaining an organized image library, and ensuring visual content is aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.



The Photographer will contribute ideas for visual storytelling and work closely with designers and content creators to deliver cohesive, engaging digital assets.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong technical photography skills, including proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting setups, and composition.

Candidates should possess skills in photo editing and post-production using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools.

Candidates should possess creative and conceptual abilities, including visual storytelling, understanding of branding, and the ability to translate marketing briefs into impactful imagery.

Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with designers, writers, marketers, and clients during pre-production, shoots, and review cycles.

Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain a structured asset library.

Candidates should possess knowledge of digital and social media content requirements, including formats, aspect ratios, and best practices for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Relevant experience in commercial, lifestyle, or brand photography, preferably within a marketing or agency setting, is highly beneficial.

A degree or certification in Photography, Visual Arts, Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred.
