Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, ensuring proper labeling and handling of specimens, and maintaining a safe and clean setting in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to collect blood samples.
- Verify patient identification and ensure accurate labeling of specimens.
- Prepare samples for laboratory analysis and proper storage or transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and workspace.
- Provide clear instructions and support to patients, ensuring their comfort during procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Record patient information and procedures in the system accurately.
- Collaborate with medical staff to address patient needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Phlebotomy (CPT) or equivalent.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional medical training is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
