Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies for web, API, and microservices-based applications.

Build and maintain scalable performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.

Analyze application performance bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies.

Perform load, stress, endurance, and spike testing across multiple environments.

Monitor application performance using Datadog APM, logs, dashboards, and distributed tracing.

Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes of performance issues.

Execute API performance testing for RESTful services, HTTP-based applications, and microservices.

Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to support performance testing initiatives.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium and TestComplete.

Prepare performance reports, dashboards, and recommendations for stakeholders.

Participate in performance tuning,



capacity planning, and production readiness reviews.

Mentor junior engineers and promote performance engineering best practices across teams.

Required

Skills

6–10 years of overall IT experience with 4–5 years in Performance Testing/Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.

Experience in performance analysis, bottleneck identification, and system optimization.

Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Hands-on experience with Datadog APM, log management, dashboards, and monitoring.

Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and TestComplete.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, and microservices architecture.

Experience in API performance testing and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of performance metrics including throughput, response time, latency, CPU, memory, and network utilization.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
