Job Title : Performance Architect

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Performance Architect to drive enterprise-wide application and infrastructure performance optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing performance strategies, identifying system bottlenecks, improving scalability, and ensuring high availability across enterprise applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, cloud, database, and operations teams to build highly performant and reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define enterprise performance architecture standards, metrics, and best practices.
- Assess current-state architecture and recommend performance improvements with minimal impact on existing systems.
- Design low-level configurations and tuning strategies for applications, databases, servers, and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, infrastructure teams, architects, vendors, and development teams to achieve performance objectives.
- Optimize application, database, server, network, and operating system performance.
- Analyze monitoring data, application logs, and system metrics to support capacity planning and infrastructure sizing.
- Develop automation frameworks for performance testing, benchmarking, and validation.
- Participate in architecture reviews to identify scalability risks and performance bottlenecks.
- Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive solutions.
- Optimize cloud-native applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Analyze results from performance testing tools and implement corrective actions.
- Design and execute load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability tests.




- Establish monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reporting mechanisms for proactive performance management.
- Document performance standards, optimization techniques, and operational procedures.
- Mentor engineering teams on performance engineering principles and best practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in Performance Architecture and enterprise performance engineering.
- Expertise in Application Performance Tuning.
- Experience with Performance Testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, or Gatling.
- Strong knowledge of Performance Monitoring tools including Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Current Relic, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Experience tuning Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Strong understanding of Server, Operating System, Network, and CPU Performance Optimization.
- Experience with Scalability, High Availability, and Capacity Planning.
- Expertise in log analysis and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud performance optimization.
- Experience with automation, scripting, and CI/CD integration.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- 5 years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).




- Experience with API performance optimization and caching strategies.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

Educational Qualification :

BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Science &

- Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics &
- Communication Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.

OR

MCA, M.Tech, or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Science &

- Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics &
- Communication Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.

Desirable :

MBA as an additional qualification is preferred.

Preferred Certifications :

- ISTQB Certified Performance Tester
- Micro Focus LoadRunner Certification
- Apache JMeter Certification (Preferred)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Cloud Practitioner (Preferred)
- Microsoft Azure Performance &
- Monitoring Certifications (Preferred)
