:

1. Process Management

- Manage and optimize PCR extrusion processes including tread, sidewall, inner liner, apex.
- Ensure extrusion output meets defined specifications for gauge, weight, profile, and surface quality.
- Set and monitor standard operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, and die settings.
- Ensure smooth and stable running of extrusion lines with minimum downtime.

2. Quality & Continuous Improvement

- Monitor extrusion quality performance and take corrective actions for deviations.
- Lead root cause analysis for extrusion‑related defects and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Reduce extrusion scrap, start‑up losses, and rework through process improvement initiatives.
- Support internal and external audits related to extrusion processes

1. New Product Development & Trials

- Support new compound trials, new size introduction, and process validation activities.
- Coordinate with NPI, Mixing, QA, and Tire Building teams during trials.
- Ensure successful transition from trial stage to regular mass production.

1. Documentation & Standards

- Prepare and maintain SOPs, Control Plans, and PFMEA for extrusion processes.




- Ensure compliance with ISO / IATF / BIS and customer‑specific requirements.
- Maintain proper records for process parameters, trials, and improvements.

1. Digitalization & Data Monitoring

- Support implementation of digital systems such as MES / SEEDS / online measurement systems.
- Analyse process data to identify trends, variation, and improvement opportunities.
- Improve traceability and data accuracy related to extrusion operations.

1. Team Support & Training

- Guide and train extrusion supervisors, engineers, and operators.
- Support skill development and standard work discipline on the shop floor.
