Key ResponsibilitiesDynatrace Administration & Configuration

Install, configure, and maintain Dynatrace Managed/SaaS environments.

Deploy and manage OneAgents across Windows, Linux, VMware, and Cloud environments.

Configure monitoring for applications, servers, databases, containers, and cloud services.

Manage Dynatrace clusters, ActiveGates, and environment upgrades.

Create and maintain management zones, dashboards, reports, and custom monitoring configurations.

Monitoring & Observability

Implement end-to-end observability solutions using Dynatrace.

Configure Real User Monitoring (RUM), Synthetic Monitoring, and Digital Experience Monitoring.

Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, and business services.

Develop custom metrics, alerts, anomaly detection rules, and problem notifications.

Configure service-level objectives (SLOs) and service-level indicators (SLIs).

Incident Management & Troubleshooting

Analyze performance bottlenecks and application issues using Dynatrace AI engine (Davis).

Perform root cause analysis for infrastructure and application incidents.

Collaborate with Operations, Development, and Support teams for issue resolution.

Support major incidents and performance-related escalations.

Automation & Integration

Integrate Dynatrace with ServiceNow, Jira, PagerDuty, Splunk,



and other ITSM/monitoring tools.

Automate monitoring deployment and configuration using APIs and scripting.

Support CI/CD integration for application observability.

Reporting & Governance

Generate periodic health, availability, and performance reports.

Ensure monitoring coverage across all critical business services.

Maintain platform documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.

Participate in capacity planning and monitoring strategy discussions.

Required SkillsTechnical Skills

Robust hands-on experience with Dynatrace Administration.

Experience with Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, Management Zones, Dashboards, and Alerting.

Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) concepts.

Experience with Real User Monitoring (RUM) and Synthetic Monitoring.

Understanding of Windows and Linux administration.

Experience monitoring Java, .NET, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, and APIs.

Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud monitoring.

Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.

Scripting & Automation

PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.

Experience with REST APIs and automation workflows.
