We are looking for an early-career professional who wants hands-on exposure to how operations, customer experience and order fulfilment work inside a growing D2C startup.
About the Role
As a Packing & Fulfilment Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring that every Mood Society order is packed carefully, presented beautifully and dispatched accurately.
This is not just a packing role. You will manage the complete order fulfilment lifecycle - from receiving an order and preparing the shipment to coordinating with delivery partners and ensuring successful delivery to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, check and pack customer orders accurately.
- Ensure every order follows Mood Society’s packaging, branding and customer-delight standards.
- Conduct quality checks before packing and dispatch.
- Follow packing SOPs to prevent product damage, missing items or incorrect shipments.
- Print shipping labels, invoices and other order documentation.
- Process and dispatch local and pan-India orders through delivery partners.
- Coordinate daily pickups with courier and logistics partners.
- Track delayed, undelivered, returned and RTO shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of packed, dispatched, delivered and returned orders.
- Coordinate with the customer support and inventory teams to resolve fulfilment issues.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient packing and fulfilment area.
- Support inventory counts, stock organisation and packaging-material tracking when required.
Who We Are Looking For
- Fresher or up to 2 years of experience in packing, warehousing, logistics, retail operations or e-commerce fulfilment.
- Detail-oriented and careful while handling products.
- Comfortable working with order-management systems, courier dashboards and basic spreadsheets.
- Able to follow processes consistently while handling daily order volumes.
- Responsible, punctual and willing to take ownership of tasks.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Interested in learning how a up-to-date D2C brand operates.
