Role Description The Owner at LIGHT ART STUDIO | LAS is responsible for leading the studio’s vision, operations, and growth on a full-time basis. This in office role, based in Delhi, India, includes overseeing daily business activities such as managing client relationships, supervising showroom operations, coordinating project delivery, and ensuring a high standard of customer experience. The Owner will guide product curation and merchandising, collaborate with designers and vendors, and make decisions on inventory, pricing, and brand positioning.

Day-to-day responsibilities also involve financial oversight, team leadership, and strategic planning to expand market presence and strengthen partnerships with architects, interior designers,



and other stakeholders. The role requires hands-on involvement in key projects, problem-solving for operational challenges, and maintaining a design-led, customer-centric culture.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in business ownership, studio management, or leading operations in design, interiors, or retail environments.

Strong skills in client relationship management, stakeholder communication, and negotiation with partners, suppliers, and project collaborators.

Background in interior design, lighting design, architecture, or a related creative field, with an eye for aesthetics, spatial composition, and product selection.

Proficiency in business planning, budgeting, financial oversight, and decision-making to support sustainable growth.

Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a small team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and a service-oriented mindset.

Experience in sales strategy, marketing, and brand development within premium or design-focused markets.

Comfort with on-site customer interactions, showroom management, and coordinating installations or project execution in Delhi and nearby areas.

Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in business, design, architecture, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience is highly valued.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Fluency in English and Hindi, with professional written and verbal communication
