Role Description The Owner at The MentorGyan will oversee overall strategy, operations, and growth, ensuring alignment with the mission of empowering engineering students across India. This full time, on-site role in Mumbai involves leading program design, supervising mentorship initiatives, and building partnerships with educational institutions and industry stakeholders. The Owner will manage budgets, allocate resources, and guide the core team to deliver high-quality student support and skill-building programs.

Daily responsibilities include decision-making on business development, nurturing community engagement, monitoring performance metrics,



and continuously refining offerings based on student feedback and emerging industry trends. The role also entails representing TMG in external forums, strengthening brand presence, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications

- Experience in education, mentoring, or youth-focused initiatives, preferably with engineering or technical students.

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, guide, and motivate multidisciplinary teams.

- Strategic planning, business development, and operational management capabilities in a growing organization or startup environment.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills for collaborating with students, institutions, and industry partners.

- Financial acumen, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance tracking to support sustainable growth.

- Entrepreneurial mindset, problem-solving abilities, and openness to innovation in program design and delivery.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, Education, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
