Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer based in Ahmedabad, with flexibility for partial work from home. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers to support complex business logic and data processing needs. The developer will work on database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting issues in production and non-production environments.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implementing database solutions, maintaining data integrity,



and preparing technical documentation. The role also includes participating in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards, and supporting deployment and post-release activities.

Qualifications

Strong Oracle database development skills, including experience with PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and SQL query optimization.

Hands-on experience with database performance tuning, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and troubleshooting of data-related issues.

Proficiency in data modeling concepts, relational database design, normalization, and working with complex schemas in enterprise environments.

Ability to work with version control systems, follow coding standards, and participate in code reviews and collaborative development processes.

Experience integrating Oracle databases with enterprise applications, APIs, or ETL processes, and familiarity with secure data handling practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective database solutions.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in hybrid teams and coordinate with stakeholders across locations.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in AI-driven or data-intensive applications and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or similar environments is an advantage.

Willingness to work from the Ahmedabad office part-time in a hybrid model
