Experience: 3–5 years database administration

Job Overview: Oracle database administration including backup/restore, patching, tuning, and DR readiness (RAC, Standalone, Data Guard).

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Oracle operations: backup, recovery, patching.
- Performance tuning and troubleshooting; monitor jobs, logs, tablespaces.
- Configure high availability and DR replication; archive log retention.
- Manage users, roles, privileges, and security hardening per bank IT policy.
- Coordinate with application teams for schema changes and deployments.
- Prepare operational reports, capacity/utilization inputs and service metrics.
- Ensure SLA compliance, audit readiness and RBI/security policy adherence.
- Maintain SOPs,



runbooks, KB articles and operational documentation.
- Coordinate with OEMs/vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
- Support DR drills, patching, vulnerability remediation and preventive maintenance.
- Participate in RCA preparation for Priority incidents.
- Follow Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request Management processes.

Technical Skills: Oracle RMAN, SQL tuning, RAC, ASM, Data Guard. Certifications: Oracle OCP (preferred).

Coverage Model: Remote 9×6 with escalation support.
