We are seeking a results-driven Operations Supervisor to oversee daily commercial vehicle placements, specifically managing 4-wheeler mini-trucks like Tata Ace, Mahindra Bolero, etc. In this role, you will bridge the gap between client demand and vendor supply. You will ensure 100% placement fulfillment, maintain robust stakeholder relationships, and handle accurate MIS reporting to facilitate timely vendor payments and client invoicing. ?️ Key Responsibilities

Fleet & Placement Management

Execute daily vehicle placements of Tata Ace, Bolero, and similar 4-wheeler commercial vehicles based on client requirements.

Track vehicle movements in real-time to ensure punctual placement and delivery schedules.

Resolve on-ground issues quickly, including vehicle breakdowns, driver delays, or route deviations.

Optimize vehicle utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize dry runs.

Client & Vendor Relationship Management

Act as the primary contact for clients, handling daily indents, escalations, and service feedback.

Onboard and retain reliable vendors, transport contractors, and market vehicle drivers.

Negotiate spot market rates with vendors to maintain operational profitability.

Ensure driver compliance with client-specific safety norms and delivery protocols.

Data Management & Reporting

Maintain daily MIS reports capturing accurate data on placements, indents, cancellations, and trip details.





Reconcile trip sheets, proof of delivery (POD) documents, and toll receipts.

Submit verified data to the finance team for prompt client billing and vendor payment processing.

Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements. ? Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Placement Fulfillment Rate: Maintaining a >98% success rate against client indents.

Turnaround Time (TAT): Minimizing vehicle reporting and unloading delays.

Data Accuracy: Zero errors in daily MIS and billing documentation.

Vendor Retention: Maintaining a steady pool of active, reliable vehicles.

COD Handling: Ensure COD deposition (wherever applicable) is done daily and no losses arise out of COD pendency at any Last mile hubs. ? Qualifications and Experience

Education: Graduate in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (High School diploma with extensive experience also considered).

Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in logistics operations, specifically handling intra-city/regional mini-truck fleets (Tata Ace, Bolero Pickup).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Languages: Fluency in English and the local regional language (essential for communicating with drivers and vendors). ? Soft Skills

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills under high-pressure situations.

Excellent verbal and written communication for client handling.

Ability to work flexible hours to match fleet operational timings.
