Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an Online Generative AI Tutor (US Shift) at Codeyoung. The tutor will guide school-age learners through concepts in generative AI, including prompt design, basic machine learning ideas, and creative applications using AI tools. Daily responsibilities include conducting live online classes, explaining complex topics in simple terms, answering questions, and providing constructive feedback on student projects.

The tutor will revise examples based on student understanding, and support a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom workplace. Qualifications

Strong Communication skills,



including clear spoken and written English for explaining technical concepts to young learners.

Solid Analytical Skills and Research abilities to understand generative AI topics and stay updated on emerging tools and best practices.

Effective Writing skills to create and refine lesson plans, prompts, examples, and feedback that are age-appropriate and easy to understand.

Demonstrated Training or teaching experience, ideally in online environments or with K–12 students, with the ability to manage interactive classes.

Foundational understanding of AI concepts and familiarity with generative AI platforms (e.g., chat-based models, image generation tools).

Comfort with online teaching tools, learning platforms, and basic troubleshooting of common technical issues.

Patience, empathy, and a student-centric approach to teaching, with a commitment to inclusive and respectful learning spaces.

Preferred: Background in Computer Science, Education, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience in coding and AI.
