We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across key product areas and drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience building cloud-native applications, distributed systems, and microservices, while influencing architecture, mentoring engineers, and establishing engineering best practices across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex, scalable software systems and enterprise applications.
- Design and build cloud-native, microservices-based solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful APIs.
- Drive technical decisions for large features and distributed systems, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or similar messaging platforms.
- Develop and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Define and promote engineering standards, coding best practices, design patterns, and code quality across teams.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design sessions while providing guidance on complex engineering challenges.
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and engineering excellence.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure improvements, and developer productivity initiatives.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous platform improvements.




- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve software quality, engineering efficiency, and delivery speed.

Required Skills :

- 8 to 12 years of experience in enterprise software development with a solid background in product engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful API development.
- Proven experience designing and building microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, high availability, and system reliability.
- Experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging and event-streaming platforms.
- Strong expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Experience working with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Azure Monitor, or similar.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and mentoring engineers.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Devin, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
- Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
- Understanding of cloud security, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments with globally distributed engineering teams.
