Position: Odoo Functional Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to lead the end-to-end implementation of Odoo ERP for our manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will play a key role in migrating our existing SAP processes to Odoo, streamlining business operations, implementing best practices, and ensuring successful adoption across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the complete implementation and rollout of Odoo ERP across the organization.

Understand existing SAP workflows and design an effective migration strategy to Odoo.

Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional solutions.

Configure, implement, and optimize Odoo modules based on business needs.

Streamline and standardize business processes across departments.

Coordinate with technical teams for customizations, integrations, and data migration.

Ensure smooth migration of master data and transactional data from SAP to Odoo.

Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve functional issues.

Prepare functional documentation, SOPs, and training materials.

Train end users and provide post-implementation support.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, Inventory, Warehouse, HR, and Production.





Continuously identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and automate business processes.

Maintenance

Reporting & Dashboards

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

5–10 years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant or ERP Functional Consultant.

Hands-on experience in end-to-end Odoo ERP implementation.

Strong understanding of manufacturing business processes.

Experience in SAP-to-Odoo migration will be highly preferred.

Expertise in requirement gathering, process mapping, GAP analysis, and solution design.

Ability to work closely with technical teams for customizations and integrations.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or similar organizations is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, inventory management, procurement, and finance.

Experience with ERP implementation methodologies.

Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet implementation timelines.

Experience in change management and user training.
