Job Summary

Provides services to help adults and children’s with cognitive, physical, social or Learning disabilities to independently carry out everyday tasks or occupation with more independence.

Job Profile

1. Holistic approach to patients needs.
2. Part of inter disciplinary team to assess, plan and implement rehabilitation program in hospital.
3. Liaise with other professionals such as doctors, physiotherapist, social workers, equipment suppliers, families & carers.
4. Keep up-to-date with written and electronic records.
5. Attend interdisciplinary case conferences.
6. Monitor outcome measures.
7. Use conventional therapy,



computer aided and robotic rehabilitation tools to maximize patient independence including A.D.L training.
8. Contribute to analysis, planning audit and development of clinical services.
9. Train students and supervise work of therapy assistants.
10. Manage case load and prioritizing patient needs.
11. Advice on home and workplace setting
12. Help in smooth community integration and return to work.

Experience

1 to 2 years of experience

Masters in Occupational Therapy
