Role Description The Nursing Home Administrator will oversee the daily operations of a long-term care facility affiliated with AyuSewa, ensuring safe, high-quality elder care and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities include managing staff schedules and performance, coordinating clinical and non-clinical services, and maintaining effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare partners. The role involves monitoring budgets, resources, and facility maintenance, implementing policies and procedures,



and driving continuous improvement in resident experience and care outcomes. The Administrator will also lead training initiatives, support quality assurance activities, and collaborate closely with AyuSewa’s emergency services to ensure seamless transfers and continuity of care.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Patna.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Nursing Home Administration and Long-term Care, with demonstrated ability to manage a residential care facility.

Experience in Elder Care, including understanding of geriatric needs, resident rights, and person-centered care practices.

Proficiency in Budgeting and resource management to ensure efficient and sustainable facility operations.

Experience in Training staff, including onboarding, ongoing professional development, and performance coaching.

Relevant academic background such as a degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements, licensing standards, and quality assurance processes for long-term care facilities.

Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Prior experience in elder care, hospital administration, or emergency medical services is an advantage.
