Job Summary

We are looking for an NS-3 Programmer to build and evaluate network simulation scenarios for research projects. The role involves implementing communication protocols, running simulations, and generating performance data to support research outcomes.

Key Skills Required

- Good working knowledge of NS-3 network simulator

- Solid C++ programming skills

- Solid understanding of computer networking concepts (OSI/TCP-IP layers, routing, wireless networks, etc.)

- Ability to implement and modify network protocols within NS-3

- Analytical skills to interpret and present network performance data

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop network simulation scenarios in NS-3 based on research requirements

- Implement and customise networking protocols using C++





- Set up and run simulations to measure network performance (throughput, delay, packet loss, etc.)

- Analyse simulation output and generate research-ready results

- Prepare graphs, tables, and reports summarising performance metrics

- Debug and optimise simulation code for accuracy and efficiency

Eligibility

- B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, or related field

- Freshers with academic/project experience in NS-3 and networking are welcome to apply

- Candidates with a published research paper (journal/conference) will be preferred
